Executive Producer, China Game Studio

As a seasoned leader in the gaming industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of a genre-defining game for a global audience. You will lead a passionate and multi-disciplinary team of engineers, artists, game designers, and producers to bring this vision to life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and evolve the game's vision and strategy in collaboration with the R&D team
  • Deeply understand the game's audience and ensure the product strategy aligns with their needs
  • Ensure key game features and product choices further the strategic vision of the product
  • Monitor product outcomes and drive necessary pivots to the product roadmap
  • Effectively prioritize product and team decisions at the organizational level
  • Holistically responsible for a game from ideation to launch, directing all aspects of game development
Team Development and Execution:
  • Build a high-functioning team of developers to execute the strategic vision of the product
  • Manage the team's overall execution strategy, identifying critical path issues and driving efficiency and accountability
  • Lead the team to excellence, fostering a positive team culture and motivating developers to bring their best effort
  • Continuously assess team and leadership capabilities to ensure the product teams are set up for success
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years of experience leading a major games studio or operating as an Executive Producer on a game made in China
  • 8-15 years of experience in game design, 4+ years of team management experience
  • Substantial experience in a leadership role of a large, live-service product
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and organization development skills
  • History of hiring and recruiting game teams
  • Able to instill a healthy and strong growth mindset within an entire organization

  • Fluent in both Chinese and English
