China GC Columns Applications Scientist

About the Role
Agilent Technologies is seeking a highly skilled GC and GC/MS Applications Scientist to join our team in China. As a key member of our product marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing GC workflows that enhance sample preparation, method development, and data analysis for a wide range of compounds in different matrices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments to create reproducible and robust GC and GC/MS workflows
- Develop and publish application notes using these workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring new methodologies to market
- Provide technical expertise to customers, including presentations, troubleshooting assistance, and field support
Requirements
- At least five years of experience with GC and GC/MS workflows in key markets, with at least two years in a commercial environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to travel for presentations and customer site visits
- Ability to work independently and as part of multidiscipline teams
- degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, food science, or related field, or Master's degree with equivalent experience
- Industry experience in Pharma, Chemical, Energy, and experience with sample preparation highly desired
