About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented business software support engineer with a focus on system application supporting, testing, and business requirements researching. As a support engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through testing, providing daily support to partners and users, and training them to use the system efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily support for the use of business software systems, quickly respond to and solve user issues, and seek assistance from IT and external suppliers as necessary.
  • Record tickets/logs for system support and update the system knowledge base as needed.
  • Manage business software systems: configuration, users, permissions, etc.
  • Create operation manuals, training materials, and courseware as necessary.
  • Train and mentor business teams and end-users, providing training and demonstrations to improve system usage ability.
  • Offer reasonable system optimization suggestions, assist in researching, collecting, and analyzing business software system requirements.
  • Work closely with the business team to identify the applicability of functions.
  • Collaborate with 3rd-party development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Document and communicate test results and findings to IT managers.
  • Assist in launching, tracking, and controlling system functions.
  • Contribute to improving testing processes and methodologies with teammates and 3rd-party teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, marketing, management, language, or related fields.
  • 2+ years of experience in business software system supporting and remote supporting.
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing.
  • Experience in training business partners and end-users.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Business Analytics preferred for future growth in role.

Location and Salary:

This is a full-time opportunity based in Guangzhou, China. The estimated annual salary is around ¥400,000 - ¥600,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
