About the Role

Responsible for delivering high-quality application development and support services to meet AIA's business requirements.

Position Objectives:

  • To provide accurate system functional solutions with estimates by assessing and analyzing business changes, collecting and documenting requirements as functional specifications, and supporting communication and delivery of these requirements with relevant parties.
  • To produce Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) for small-scale projects, lead user interface (UI) design, write testing plans, and conduct testing to ensure system implementation meets business needs.
  • This role may also mentor engineers/specialists in business analysis skills.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Assessing, analyzing, and establishing user requirements and system objectives.
  • Crafting system functional solutions and providing delivery costs.
  • Preparing system documentation, such as functional specifications, system testing plans, and user manuals.
  • Supporting communication within business parties and development teams.
  • Working with developers to support end-user acceptance testing.
  • Working with project coordinators to control and follow up user requirement changes.
  • Working with business parties to confirm delivery schedules and follow up system implementations.
  • Conducting system demonstrations as needed.
  • Mentoring and supporting engineers/specialists.

Job Requirements:

  • University degree or equivalent experience in IT or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years of IT working experience.
  • Proven track record working with 2 processes.
  • Conceptual awareness of industry/business domain, relevant IT functional products, and applications.
  • Ability to identify and define requirements through multiple scenarios to assess real business problems and validate with business and end-users for updates.
  • Able to understand, explain, and convey requirements and business scenarios to business, end-users, and technical teams.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English.
  • Hard-working person and quick learner.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferable.
