Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

The primary role of an Acquisition Manager is to oversee and direct the processes and resources necessary for securing new business opportunities.

Foster a robust and productive relationship with various client departments to ensure that customer needs are thoroughly understood, concerns are promptly addressed, and high levels of customer satisfaction are achieved. Clearly articulate the business requirements and expectations in the Statement of Work, ensuring that stakeholder and end-user needs are meticulously documented and agreed upon. Utilize financial acumen to effectively manage the Business Plan. Create and oversee the acquisition timeline to ensure that all acquisition-related tasks are completed in accordance with the established schedule. Facilitate effective communication and information sharing among acquisition team members. Ensure that relevant cross-functional meetings are organized and conducted to review acquisition progress, identify challenges, and outline actions in areas such as: Acquisition Management, Commercial and Product Costing, Customer Satisfaction and Requirements, Advanced Manufacturing, Financial and Business Planning, Advanced Quality Planning, Safety, Engineering Design and Development, and Purchasing. Guarantee that acquisition activities comply with the Faurecia project management system, procedures, and standards. Provide input on performance evaluations for acquisition team members and departmental staff. Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management regarding acquisition progress. Undertake related and special assignments as directed by the immediate supervisor. Compile all necessary information to support acquisition assessments and phase exit reviews. Offer management and support to all departmental personnel as needed, maintaining an open line of communication to encourage suggestions and address concerns that may lead to performance enhancements.
