Overview

The Talent Acquisition division at Edelman is dedicated to sourcing a diverse array of exceptional talent nationwide for various roles. This position offers a remarkable opportunity to be part of the China Talent Acquisition team, responsible for recruitment across multiple offices and entities within the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive recruitment processes to attract a diverse pool of skilled candidates to Edelman. This encompasses market research, sourcing, outreach, and candidate evaluation.
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to devise strategic and innovative approaches to meet both immediate and long-term hiring requirements.
  • Serve as a reliable and knowledgeable partner, proactively suggesting effective solutions.
  • Develop expertise in the business areas supported, ensuring team members are well-prepared for recruitment efforts.
  • Foster strong, client-focused relationships with hiring managers and People Partners.
  • Enhance Edelman's reputation as an employer of choice by effectively communicating our Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain top talent.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Regularly update Leadership, Managers, Finance, and People Partners on recruitment progress.
  • Maintain and cultivate market relationships through established and new channels.
  • Continuously engage with key stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.
  • Streamline recruitment processes and develop repeatable methods to enhance efficiency.
  • Utilize various talent acquisition teams and personal networks to maintain a competitive advantage in recruitment.
  • Work with People Partners and Finance to create attractive job offers.
  • Keep recruitment records current in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance recruitment tools and resources, sharing knowledge across the team.
  • Participate in projects within the China & APAC Talent Acquisition teams.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of seven years of progressive recruitment experience, preferably in-house or agency.
  • Familiarity with the public relations and advertising sectors and their operational dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-volume, complex recruitment independently.
  • Proficiency in digital platforms, with experience in promoting employer culture and brand through social media.
  • Interest and experience in recruiting top talent across various disciplines, including Creative, Strategy, Account Management, Corporate Affairs, Digital, Health, and Analytics.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with excellent organizational, communication, and writing abilities.
  • Attention to detail, resourcefulness, and creativity.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships across all employee levels to enhance satisfaction.
  • Understanding of business needs, providing guidance to hiring managers with a client service mindset.
  • Proficient in English and skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
