Job Title: Deputy Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at WNS. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the daily activities of the accounting staff, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, and driving program evolution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the accounting staff to ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Domain expertise in Financial and Accounting (F&A) and be responsible for overall service delivery.
  • Team management, handling client communication and relationship engagement.
  • Address all escalations and resolve issues that may arise throughout the engagement period.
  • Drive program evolution and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain Knowledge Management.
  • Ensure SLA's and KPI's are met and focus on continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of F&A working background or any Business related course.
  • Fluent English communication skills (listening, writing, and speaking).
  • 5+ years of team management work experience.
  • Experienced Microsoft Office skills & client industry understanding is a must.
  • Knowledge of Six sigma desired.
  • Excellent communication skills, should be able to communicate with external customers and senior leadership.
  • Should have an analytical bent of mind.
  • Should be able to handle a team of 15+ resources to start with (the numbers will grow in future).
  • Should be a good mentor.
  • Knack for detailing, drilling down, root cause analysis.
  • Process improvement skills based on the root cause analysis.

Working Conditions:

  • Moderate to travel depending on project involvement.
  • Overtime may be required.
  • Client holidays are observed instead of local holidays.

  • Team Working capability, can lead and motivate team members.
  • Capable to make hard decisions and handle crisis/escalation in a proper manner.
  • Drive Initiatives and skill for Project Management.
  • Stickler for timelines and good plan and proposal skill.
  • Client industry experience a plus.
