Job Summary:

As a Supply Quality Engineer at Vestas, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and technical capability of suppliers in the APAC region. This includes overall responsibility for APAC PTR and scoped products supplier quality, delivery, and sustainability performance. You will also be responsible for supporting and influencing the Supply Chain Strategy within PTR, especially on Bearing. Additionally, you will be responsible for securing suppliers' day-to-day process/product compliance with Vestas quality levels and ensuring responsible products are delivered to meet customer requirements on Quality, delivery, and Safety. If you have experience in supplier quality engineering, a strong bias for action, and a results-focused attitude, this role may be the right fit for you.

Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsible for APAC PTR and scoped products supplier quality, delivery, technical capability, and sustainability performance.
  • Support and influence the Supply Chain Strategy within PTR, especially on Bearing.
  • Secure suppliers' day-to-day process/product compliance with Vestas quality levels.
  • Ensure responsible products are delivered to meet customer requirements on Quality, delivery, and Safety.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in supplier quality engineering.
  • Relevant experience in introducing a product from development through production to operations.
  • Strong bias for action and results-focused attitude.
  • Certified ISO 1 lead assessor, working knowledge of ISO and ISO .
  • Familiar with APQP, PPAP, VDA audit, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Six Sigma Green, Black Belt, or comparable certification, Master Black Belt as preferred.
  • Strong continuous quality improvement skills and lean expertise.
