This is an exciting opportunity for a Chemical Operations Expert to join our team in China. As a key member of our Yaraco JV, you will play a crucial role in driving manufacturing excellence and ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with 15 years of experience in Petrochemicals in China to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in engineering or chemistry discipline and significant experience in SHE, petrochemical operations, technology, and engineering. Proficiency in Mandarin and English is essential, as well as excellent project management skills.

1. To deliver INEOS best practice in SHE to the Yaraco JV team, set up annual SHE performance targets, and report monthly JV SHE performance to INEOS.
2. To work together with the JV team to understand INEOS SHE scorecard definition and transition from previous SHE performance KPI.
3. As SHE supervisor, correct Yaraco employee and contractor unsafe behavior and feedback to JV leadership and SHE team, especially during TAR's, to drive improvement in SHE performance.
4. To assess existing site facility compliance issues against latest national standards and develop mitigation plans to ensure Yaraco business compliance.
5. To ensure all compliance actions from local regulators are closed in a timely manner.
6. To ensure the JV self-assessment audit program is in place and implemented to agreed schedules.
7. To work with the JV team to conduct project SHE assessments as required during each project phase.
8. Oversight of AA MOC process implementation and risk assessment.
9. To share INEOS plant SHE lessons learned with the JV, identify potential gaps, develop related mitigation plans, and ensure actions are completed as intended and by agreed dates.
10. Manufacturing Excellence:
    1. Work together with the JV team to supervise and review production efficiency and update technical standards.
    2. Work together with the JV team to set up annual production plans and reliability and variable cost-saving KPIs.
    3. To ensure INEOS CATIVA technology applied in Yaraco JV retains a competitive position in China.
    4. To assess Capex projects to ensure Capex contributes to improved safety and production performance.
    5. To work together with INEOS Technology Support Team and JV team to develop technology roadmaps to make Yaraco production more efficient to retain overall competitive positions in Acetic Acid production in China.
    6. Responsible for third-party transactions and contract bidding/contractor selection in technology and engineering.
    7. Support JV new projects to ensure INEOS interests from project, particularly new reactor replacement projects.

• Sector experience: 15 years in Petrochemicals in China.
• Education: University degree in engineering or chemistry discipline.
• Function experience: in SHE, petrochemical operations, technology, and engineering.
• Cooperation with JV experience.
• Language: Proficient in Mandarin & English (Reading, Speaking, Writing).
• Tools: Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
• Additional helpful profile: Project management experience, Experience in / understanding of joint venture, State enterprise experience.

The estimated salary for this role is RMB 800,000 - 1,200,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional benefits include a comprehensive health insurance package, retirement plan, and paid leave.
