Job Title: SSD Media Development Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled SSD Media Development Engineer to join our team at Solidigm. As a key member of our Media focused team, you will play a crucial role in Media qualification, Media algorithm development, and SSD performance optimization.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SSD Media Firmware, Media models, and algorithms to achieve world-class SSD performance.
  • Design and develop Media(NAND) tests and characterization at the SSD level.
  • Analyze large-scale data using Machine Learning and AI techniques to identify patterns and optimize SSD performance.
  • Collaborate closely with SSD/NAND design, product, and system global teams to ensure seamless integration.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in SSD or NAND product development and validation.
  • Strong background in SSD firmware development, with a focus on media management.
  • Familiarity with Data Science, Machine Learning, NAND device operation, and C/C++ programming in Linux.
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
