Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and document technical requirements for our software solutions directly from customers.
  • Identify customer requirements and propose technical improvement actions for KM.ON products.
  • Build close relationships with customers and understand their business processes.
  • Champion localization for the Chinese market and identify trends that appeal to our customers.
  • Act as a bridge between our product owners in Germany and our customers in China.
  • Be involved in building our solutions ahead of deployment on customer sites.
  • Check whether requirements are within the scope of technical realizability and support our team in the technical implementation.
  • Develop customer-oriented and innovative solution strategies based on requirements and check them for possible risks and economic viability.
  • Support the development of product-spanning concepts.
  • Coordinate and shape the further development of our product portfolio.
  • Contribute to our new corporate start-up DNA.
Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of software systems integrations and experience in agile environments.
  • Track record of integrating various applications and enabling app-to-app communication via various communication protocols.
  • Fluency in the Chinese tech ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira to manage requirements.
  • Ability to analyze complex technical content and present it in an understandable way.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to put yourself in the shoes of our customers.
  • Knowledge of software development and ideally knowledge of the textile (machinery) industry.
  • Ability to actively develop solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Team player with a solution-oriented way of working and intercultural cooperation.
  • Passion for digital innovations, Industry 4.0, and Smart Factory.
  • Willingness to travel to support customers on a regular basis (30%).
  • Minimum of 3 years' working experience in related positions.
  • Fluency in Chinese and English.
