Job Title: Engineering Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our team at CommScope. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the efficiency, quality, and safety of our fiber production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and guide fiber assembly processes to ensure compliance with company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Analyze existing production processes to identify and resolve yield issues and bottlenecks, and implement continuous improvement projects to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain and monitor quality control procedures to ensure products meet industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Supervise the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment to ensure optimal performance, and lead the maintenance team to resolve equipment issues and minimize downtime.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing necessary training and career development support, and conduct performance evaluations and motivate staff to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, procurement, logistics, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate resource and information flow.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related engineering background.
  • At least 3 years of experience in fiber production or related manufacturing fields, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Familiarity with fiber manufacturing processes and relevant standards (ISO 9001, TL 9000).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with Lean, Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively managing and motivating a team.
  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the ability to report and discuss technical information.
