Elevator Inspector

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Elevator Inspector to join our team at Otis. As an Elevator Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of elevators and escalators in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of elevators and escalators to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Identify and report any defects or malfunctions, and recommend repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with our maintenance team to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of elevator and escalator systems, including safety features and operational procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Valid Elevator Inspector certification (DTY/DT-1).
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering principles.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using electronic and digital tools.
