About EF Education First

We are a global education company that brings people together through language and culture. As an English teacher of adults in China, you will play a vital role in helping our students achieve their goals by delivering engaging, personalized, and impactful lessons.

As an EF teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering face-to-face and online lessons using EF's innovative learning methodologies
  • Developing and leading in-school and off-site events that allow students to apply their studies in real-life environments
  • Providing study feedback and support to students across all stages of their learning journey
  • Taking an active role in creating an English environment by engaging with students and staff outside of scheduled classes and events
  • Leading by example and supporting staff in promoting excellence in educational services
  • Providing demo classes to prospective students to showcase our services
  • Supporting the business in administrative duties by achieving goals and tasks in a timely manner
  • Actively developing yourself through training, development, engagement, and quality assurance meetings

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum 12-month commitment
  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • A passport from one of the following countries: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand
  • A Criminal Background Check (company-sponsored)
  • A TEFL Course – 120 hours (company-sponsored)
  • Strong communication skills
  • A friendly, approachable, supportive, and service-minded attitude
