Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with our JV purchasing department, JV operation and cost control department, Engineering department, and other project-related departments to source, optimize costs, negotiate contracts, and manage change.
- Communicate with suppliers, handle complex issues, and facilitate technical workshops to discuss technical-driven issues with engineers in China from a purchasing perspective.
- Manage, screen, evaluate, and continuously improve our purchasing processes.
- Prepare and present decision and sourcing documents to management meetings.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Automotive, Engineering, or Software.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, with a preference for autonomous driving and connectivity-related experience with OEMs or high-tech companies.
- Good knowledge of autonomous driving software architecture, connectivity ecosystems, and related markets and technologies.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Continuous self-motivation, proactive spirit, quick learning skills, and agility in daily work.
- Strong teamwork spirit and skills to work with multiple internal stakeholders.
- Good English language skills, with the ability to read, write, and speak German preferred.
