In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the materials department, aligning with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's strategic objectives while fulfilling the expectations of employees, guests, and stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the Materials Manager to oversee the planning and procurement processes, which includes vendor development and the management of contracted services in accordance with established hotel policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the effective management of the materials department.
  • Support the Materials Manager in procurement planning and execution.
  • Engage in vendor development and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and operational standards.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within Materials or Purchasing, or as a Team Leader in a larger operational setting, is essential. Strong problem-solving abilities, administrative skills, and interpersonal communication are critical for success in this position.
