Materials Assistant Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager to join our Materials team at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. As a key member of our procurement and purchasing team, you will be responsible for assisting the Materials Manager in the planning and procurement of materials, including vendor development and administration of contracted services.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Materials Manager in the planning and procurement of materials, including vendor development and administration of contracted services.
- Support the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Corporate Strategic Priorities.
- Collaborate with the procurement and purchasing team to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality materials and services.
- Administer contracted services in accordance with hotel policy and procedures.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with a university degree or diploma in Finance or Hospitality/Tourism management, and a minimum of 2 years of work experience as an Assistant Manager in Materials or Purchasing, or as a Team Leader in a larger operation. Strong problem-solving, administrative, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
