We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Designer to join our team at Lenovo. As an Industrial Designer, you will play a critical role in the design process, from concept generation to final production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the product team to develop innovative and competitive product design solutions.
  • Create 2D and 3D sketches, renderings, and 3D models to visualize and communicate design concepts.
  • Develop detailed product specifications, including materials, finishes, and manufacturing processes, in collaboration with the CMF team.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work closely with engineers to ensure the manufacturability and functionality of designs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial design with an impressive portfolio.
  • Skilled in hand sketching or digital sketching, with excellent 2D and 3D skills.
  • Ability to create photorealistic renderings.
  • Knowledge of the design process from concept design and design strategy to concept development and manufacturing execution.
  • Ability to multi-task multiple projects and products simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, tooling methods, and assembly methods.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Industrial/Product Design.
