Electronics Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Procurement Specialist to join our team at MAHLE in Wuhan, China. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong purchasing experience, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work closely with R&D teams.

Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for defining and building up supplier panels and strategies for defined commodities, with a focus on electronics. They will also negotiate contracts, manage relationships with suppliers, and drive early supplier involvement and cost competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and build up supplier panel and strategy for defined commodities with a focus on electronics.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers.
- Drive early supplier involvement and cost competitiveness through close cooperation with R&D teams.
- Responsible for purchasing KPIs, including identification and execution of saving measures such as Design to Cost and introduction of new technologies.
- Identify and implement process adjustments for electronic components, such as e-component databases and nomination processes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5-10 years of working experience in procurement or a related field.
- A degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
- Strong knowledge of the market, suppliers, and components within electronics, particularly active and passive components.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken.
- A self-motivated entrepreneurial mindset with the willingness to take on new responsibilities.
We offer a competitive salary range of ¥150,000 - ¥250,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. Our company culture values teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.
