Position Overview

As a Global Procurement Specialist for electronic components, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement processes for resistors. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of commercial activities aimed at optimizing our supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary buyer for resistors, overseeing all commercial aspects related to this category.
  • Support manufacturing plants and logistics on a global scale.
  • Engage in price negotiations and maintain procurement systems, alongside contract discussions.
  • Execute category and supplier strategies on a worldwide basis.
  • Manage the awarding of new projects from a commercial viewpoint.
  • Assist Bosch's global plants in addressing supplier quality issues, cost claims, and logistics challenges.
  • Collaborate with Bosch's engineering, quality, and project purchasing teams for new project initiatives.
  • Conduct market research, develop new suppliers, and facilitate their integration.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • A background in Engineering, Material Science, or Finance.
  • Familiarity with the automotive sector and standards such as IATF16949 and AEC-Q200.
  • Strong intercultural skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities in English, both written and spoken.
  • The capability to initiate and manage projects through various challenges.
  • Resilience and patience in challenging work environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • International work experience is an advantage.
