Job Description

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist with code scan and analysis, particularly in the knowledge base area. As a member of our Global Technology Legal Compliance (GTLC) team, you'll work closely with our product development teams to ensure compliance with intellectual property regulations.

Responsibilities will include investigating and validating source/binary code information, searching for the true origin of source code files, maintaining a knowledge base to improve scan result quality, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve tasks.

We're looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful innovative projects and be energized by lifelong learning.

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master's degree program, major in CS or related
  • Can work for minimum 3 days a week for at least 4 months
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and software lifecycle
  • Experience in software development or quality assurance experience in Java or C/C++ or another major programming language
  • Familiarity with at least one script language: Python/Ruby/JavaScript...
  • Familiarity with open-source software is highly valued and considered a plus
  • Highly self-directing, self-disciplined, and self-motivated individual with positive work attitude striving for excellence
  • Fluent in English, with good verbal and written communication skills suitable for a global work environment
