About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at PayPal. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality software applications using a range of technologies, including React, Node.js, Java, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Partner with designers and product managers to ensure that software solutions meet business needs and customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain software documentation to ensure that knowledge is shared across the team.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure that our software solutions remain competitive.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong applied experience in software development, with a focus on building, breaking, and rebuilding software applications.
  • Working knowledge of web technologies, including HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, and AJAX.
  • Familiarity with Node.js applications, Java, C++, and Python.
  • Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, and REST APIs.
  • A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things.
