About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Electronic Arts. As a key member of our platform engineering team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our unified platform, which serves massive online requests and provides a personalized experience for our players.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions to meet the needs of our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize features and improvements.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring it meets our standards for reliability, performance, and security.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our platform.
  • Contribute to the improvement of our platform's stability and observability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with software development, preferably in a distributed systems environment.
  • Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C++, or Scala.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as bash, awk, or Python.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, online and offline databases, and data streaming and processing systems.
