Job Title: Specialist, Domestic Transportation

At Thermo Fisher Scientific, we are seeking a highly skilled Specialist, Domestic Transportation to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for implementing shipping and logistics activities in accordance with SOP and WI requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and communicate with external parties, including freight forwarders, suppliers, and customers, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
  • Track and monitor shipments to identify and resolve any issues or delays, and provide regular updates to customers on shipment status.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation related to logistics activities, including shipping documents, invoices, bills of lading, and customs forms.
  • Analyze transportation data, identify abnormal trends, and report to manager.
  • Execute and track cost-saving and process optimization projects to achieve cost and quality mutual benefits.
  • Familiarize yourself with transportation management system functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Shown experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in domestic management.
  • Fluent oral and written English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify and analyze logistics issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Good project management skills.
