Corning's Display Technologies division produces glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (LCDs), primarily utilized in LCD televisions, laptops, and flat panel desktop monitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer feedback and complaints by investigating production records.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and validate their effectiveness.
  • Oversee risky lot management to minimize customer impact based on feedback and internal events.
  • Monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive actions and conduct regular audits.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze line-to-line variations and identify opportunities based on customer process understanding.
  • Conduct joint experiments to ascertain customer process requirements and drive product specifications accordingly.
  • Organize customer visits and coordinate plant resources for workshops.
  • Provide technical support by coordinating plant-wide resources for customer inquiries.
  • Facilitate external qualification processes with clients.
  • Assist with sample requests from customers.
  • Perform data analysis to propose quality improvements to the production team.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field such as Mathematics or Statistics.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in quality assurance or process-related roles; prior industry experience is advantageous.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in computer applications including PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, including familiarity with methodologies like 8D.
  • Proficient in data analysis and statistical tools, such as SPC and QC Story.
  • Fluent in English, with strong speaking, writing, and reading skills.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings effectively.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with D^t skills, including VBA, Power BI, and Power Automate.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to influence and gain cooperation from others to gather information and achieve objectives.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to embrace challenges.
