Bilingual Chinese Teacher Job Description

Job Title: Bilingual Chinese Teacher


Job Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Bilingual Chinese Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Chinese as a second language and be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.


Responsibilities:



  • Teach Chinese language and culture to students of various ages and levels
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities to promote language skills and cultural awareness
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language instruction and cultural awareness

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Teaching certification or license in Chinese language instruction
  • Native fluency in Chinese and excellent communication skills in English
  • Experience teaching Chinese as a second language to students of various ages and levels
  • Ability to develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities
  • Strong assessment and feedback skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Willingness to participate in professional development opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Education, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Experience teaching in an international school setting
  • Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation
  • Ability to develop and implement technology-enhanced lesson plans and activities
