Senior Distributed Systems Architect

NVIDIA is seeking a talented Distributed Systems Engineer to design and develop our exa-scale AI infrastructure for ingesting, indexing, and managing data of Autonomous Vehicles. This is a unique opportunity to build a cutting-edge software platform for one of the most ambitious problems of our time.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement scalable, distributed DaaS (Data as a Service) to ingest, index, manage, and service large-scale data.
- Collaborate with multiple AI teams to craft a future-proof platform that meets their current needs and anticipates future advancements.
- Provide foundational support for DaaS users, ensuring a seamless and productive experience.
- Academic Excellence: A BS, MS, in Computer Architecture, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Prowess: A robust programming background, emphasizing data structures, design patterns, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), and proficiency in Java, Scala, or Go.
- Experience: At least 5 years of work or research experience in big data processing and microservice development and design.
- Versatility and Motivation: The capacity to navigate between long-term and immediate tactical tasks smoothly and a strong self-motivated mentality.
- Platform Familiarity: Experience with world-class big data processing systems and workflow such as Spark, Kafka, Temporal will be a distinct advantage.
- Domain Familiarity: Familiarity with autonomous vehicles domain knowledge will be a big plus.
