Sourcing Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Engineer to join our team at Copeland. As a Sourcing Engineer, you will be responsible for material sourcing to support sales proposals and project execution. This includes supplier management, channel management, price, quality, and delivery management. You will also be responsible for purchasing data analysis and presentation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Select suitable products and suppliers according to technical requirements and principles.
• Manage suppliers, focusing on cost analysis, quality, and delivery management.
• Use Emerson Database tools to manage supplier information and material database information.
• Assist project teams in selecting suitable subcontractors and reaching final agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships to achieve long-term collaboration and mutual growth.
• Adhere to project quality, health, and safety requirements and procedures, as well as related company policies.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (Automation, Instrumentation).
• Acquaintance with the Power industry, instrumentation, and control sector, preferably with some working experience with foreign-owned companies.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, outgoing personality.
• Basic technical knowledge of control automation products (DCS, PLC).
• Fluent in English and Mandarin (oral and written), CET.
• Strong computer skills, such as Office and AutoCAD. Power BI and PPT skills are preferred.
• Capable and willing to work independently and handle multiple tasks with minimum supervision.
• Good teamwork skills, good working attitude.
• Occupational health and safety skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Experience with Ovation and DeltaV system application is preferable.
• High degree of initiative and good communication skills.
• Sensitive to numbers, able to use technical background to do big data analysis.
• Honest and accountable.
