Technical Training Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  1. Presents technical training in a variety of settings, focusing on specialized / customized courses, and maintains product technical knowledge sufficient to prepare and present defined product courses.
  2. Trains staff and others in standard course development process/Instructional System Design (ISD) and evaluates instructor performance.
  3. Utilizes Technical Publications and System Business Units to improve technical documentation efficiencies and creates and augments documentation to fill gaps in released materials.
  4. Provides technical expertise and troubleshooting skills to assist with system repairs and ensures system functionality can support course objectives.
  5. Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of the technical training organization and operations and the AGS organization.
  6. Assists in building customer relationships and selling technical training related products and provides input on customer issues/needs to determine future training opportunities.
  7. Provides coaching and leadership to other instructors and serves as mentor to less senior instructors for class delivery, technical development and certification.
  8. Manages multiple projects of diverse scope and complexity and directs project team members.
