Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our Global R&D Team as a Senior Materials Scientist. In this role, you will:

  • Innovate and formulate advanced silicone-based materials tailored to meet the diverse requirements of our expanding portfolio in adhesives, coatings, and specialty materials.
  • Collaborate closely with our customers across East Asia and Southeast Asia, translating their unmet needs into precise technical specifications for the development of unique products that cater to both regional and global markets.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the patent landscape and play a pivotal role in securing patent protection for our proprietary technologies and processes.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and coordination of multiple projects from their initial stages through to scale-up and commercialization.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Polymer Science, Polymer Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with a strong focus on chemistry.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the coatings sector, specifically in a product development capacity.
  • Proficient oral and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Proven track record of successful collaboration with multidisciplinary teams in product development, demonstrated by commercially viable products or relevant technical publications.
  • Exhibit creativity in developing innovative products through close customer engagement.
