We are seeking a highly skilled Hardware Test Engineer to join our Silicon Solutions Team. This role will be responsible for building, debugging, and managing global hardware infrastructure for silicon validation. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of complex hardware systems and innovative thinking to support critical breakthroughs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee the functionality of our Hardware Farm, a large collection of GPU, SoC, and CPU systems unified by software.
  2. Execute system-level test plans on GPUs through an automated test farm infrastructure and assist in initial triage of failures.
  3. Perform HW and SW debugs involving PCB, Voltage Regulators, OS, Driver, Firmware, etc.
  4. Create test plans and scripts to run sanity checks on farm systems ensuring HW and SW integrity.
  5. Work with multiple SW tools involved in automation to identify and fix any infrastructure or script issues.
  6. Coordinate with global farm teams and silicon validation teams to ensure timely availability of farm systems by resolving technical challenges.
  7. Drive critical debus by pulling in resources within and outside the team.
  8. Collaborate with the Farm-Development team and location-based PIC to enhance the farm process and infrastructure.
  9. Apply proactive problem-solving abilities to address issues in the farm infrastructure and drive to closure.

Requirements:

  1. B.E/B.Tech in ECE or equivalent experience, or CSE with 3+ years of experience in the HW/Silicon domain.
  2. In-depth knowledge of various motherboard platforms, SoCs, PC hardware, and components, network connections.
  3. Strong expertise in diverse operating systems, emphasizing profound knowledge of Linux OS internals and scripting capabilities (Python, Perl, and TCL).
  4. Excellent coordination and interpersonal skills to effectively convey technical information and collaborate across global teams.
  5. Excellent problem-solving abilities to address complex hardware and software issues in the lab and farm infrastructure.
  6. Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide team members, nurturing a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  7. Excellent verbal communication and written presentation skills.
