Product Lifecycle Manager

As a Product Lifecycle Manager at MAHLE, you will be responsible for developing and executing business development strategies for assigned Engine Conditioning product groups. Your key objectives will include managing Product Development Plans (PDPs) with suppliers to ensure a benchmark Time-to-Market product introduction, as well as monitoring new vehicles and engines introduced into relevant markets.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute business development strategies for assigned product groups.
  • Manage PDPs with suppliers to ensure a benchmark Time-to-Market product introduction.
  • Monitor new vehicles and engines introduced into relevant markets.
  • Manage assigned product groups to fulfill given coverage and profitability targets.
  • Regularly monitor product portfolio performance and select phase-in and phase-out items.
  • Develop product specifications to fulfill customer and market requirements.
  • Support Quality during PPAP process for product approval and release.
  • Perform competitor benchmarks and analysis.
  • Regularly verify product portfolio cross references.
  • Manage Material Master Data in relevant ERP systems and ensure necessary data quality.

Your Skills & Strengths:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Technical Management, or equal.
  • Product Management experience.
  • Experience within Automotive Industry (Independent Aftermarket preferred).
  • Experience in Engine Cooling.
  • Good understanding of IT Tools (SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, Databases).
  • Fluent in English, for both writing and speaking.
  • Team Player.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • High level of analytical ability.
