About Your Role

Job Summary

Avery Dennison Smartrac is seeking a skilled Production Planner to join our team. As a key member of our PPC team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, ensuring timely delivery of materials, and resolving any production-related issues.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer deadlines and ensure on-time delivery
  • Develop and implement production plans, including material requirements planning
  • Monitor production progress, communicate with production teams, and resolve any production-related issues
  • Manage inventory levels, control obsolete materials, and maintain a healthy inventory turnover rate
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members as needed
  • Coordinate resources within the PPC team
  • Participate in company-organized training programs, including ISO9001, FSC, EHS, and ELS basics, to ensure correct implementation in PPC team activities

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, with a proven track record in a similar position
  • At least 10 years of experience in production planning, control, and management in a foreign-invested company
  • Good knowledge of production planning, scheduling, inventory control, and production control
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in computer applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to troubleshoot issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong customer service orientation
  • Good knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably with experience
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Aggressive, proactive, and highly responsible attitude
  • Preferably, experience in the Print and Packaging industry
