At SAP, we are seeking a talented Software Engineer - Intelligent Spend and Business Network to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions that help our customers achieve their goals.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled backend developer who can design, implement, and maintain high-quality software applications for our cloud-based solutions. Your primary focus will be on developing RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot, as well as working with big data on Azure Databricks with Machine Learning models.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop modular, scalable, and maintainable software applications.
  • Develop and deploy RESTful microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to build and maintain big data pipelines on Azure Databricks, utilizing Machine Learning models for UNSPSC classification.
  • Design and implement data models, ensuring data integrity and consistency across the organization.
  • Work closely with product management to deliver new features and improve existing functionalities.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns, and architecture principles.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-based development.
  • Knowledge of big data technologies, including Azure Databricks, Spark, and Machine Learning models.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous learning.
