Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at 898 FLEXTRONICS COMPUTING (SUZHOU) CO., LTD. in Suzhou Wuzhong. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for leading and pushing our internal quality continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive the company's internal quality continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor process quality and system, and lead six sigma projects to save costs.
- Drive corrective and preventive actions to reduce DPPM and improve customer satisfaction.
- Transfer customer requirements to internal quality standards.
- Establish and finalize QA inspection and test instructions.
- Drive continuous improvement activities and provide necessary training to IPQC teams.
- Supervise and support IPQC teams to monitor and control production floor activities.
- Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.
- Yield analysis and process support to monitor process yields and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain process and product control systems and monitor their implementation.
- Coordinate statistical process control and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist in internal and external system audits.
- Direct workers engaged in measuring and testing products and tabulating data concerning materials, product, or process quality.
- Assist in compiling and writing training material and conduct training sessions on quality control activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 3 years of experience as a Quality Engineer dealing with customers and processes.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, technical information, and write reports and general correspondence.
- Technical knowledge of SPC, blueprint reading, metrology, GR&R, AR&R, DOE, Control Plan, FMEA, APQP, MSA, PPAP.
- Ability to drive corrective and preventive actions, present information to individuals and small groups, and communicate with customers.
- Strong leadership and ability to lead by example.
- Good oral English skills.
