Utility Systems Technician

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management: Ensure the public utility systems operate efficiently, safely, and cost-effectively. Conduct regular inspections and make necessary adjustments based on observations. Accurately document operational parameters in compliance with data integrity standards and perform preliminary analysis. Conduct precise water quality assessments and collaborate with team leaders for effective team management.

2. Emergency Response: Quickly identify and assess abnormal situations, making informed decisions and notifying relevant personnel. Implement emergency measures to ensure swift resolution of issues.

3. Project Collaboration: Assist in the planning and execution of modifications and expansions related to public utility systems, adhering to national and company standards. Coordinate construction efforts, monitor quality and timelines, and support acceptance and validation processes.

4. Maintenance Coordination: Oversee AM/PM maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of utility systems. Follow prescribed protocols and maintain thorough records. Report any anomalies discovered during maintenance work promptly.

5. Consumable Management: Assess the condition of consumables and manage their inventory effectively. Ensure timely replacement of items that meet replacement criteria and notify responsible parties regarding low stock levels.

6. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to EHS and GMP policies and complete related tasks to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

1. Associate degree or higher in HVAC, plumbing, or power engineering with a minimum of three years of experience in public utility systems within large organizations.

2. Knowledge of relevant environmental, safety, and GMP regulations.

3. Ability to independently analyze and resolve issues, along with proficiency in operating equipment and troubleshooting.

4. Strong communication skills, ensuring clear interactions with colleagues and superiors.

5. Capability to identify and report errors and hazards, proposing effective solutions related to the field.

6. Proactive in sharing experiences and collaborating with team members.

7. Strong team player with a commitment to mutual support and collaboration.
