Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide timely resolutions to technical challenges related to repair operations, aiming to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Lead the establishment of new repair capabilities.
  • Offer expert technical assistance, including BITE decoding and collaboration with OEM IPE centers for consultations.
  • Analyze and improve repair processes to implement new methodologies that boost efficiency and productivity.
  • Review and create technical documentation to meet airworthiness standards.
  • Support quality assessments from a technical perspective.
  • Identify and analyze risks associated with engineering processes.
  • Optimize PE processes and facilitate global engineering communications.
  • Track airworthiness compliance.

Means and Tools Maintenance:

  • Respond promptly to priority tasks, devising effective solutions to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Oversee maintenance throughout the lifecycle of test benches, including scheduling and management of preventive and corrective actions.
  • Manage software maintenance, calibration, and provide logistical support for equipment.
  • Handle procurement for new or replacement tools and ensure high availability of testing equipment to meet performance indicators.
  • Analyze the availability rates of testing benches.

Inventory Control:

  • Manage the inventory of PE materials, including chemicals and maintenance supplies.
  • Prepare purchasing requests and oversee the procurement process.
  • Maintain vendor information and manage sourcing for tools and maintenance materials.

Technical Publication:

  • Publish technical documents in accordance with Thales processes.
  • Monitor the status of technical publications and ensure proper classification of documents.
  • Utilize digital tools for document governance and collaborate with OEMs for any document-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Aeronautics or Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the aviation sector.
  • Strong knowledge of avionics or related fields, with experience in procurement and inventory control being a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in English, with strong writing skills preferred.
