Job Title: Data Security Compliance Counsel
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Compliance Counsel to join our team at Lenovo. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the improvement of our privacy and data protection compliance system, providing support for specific business operation scenarios, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize data protection-related systems, processes, and specifications, data processing agreement template, carry out training, deal with emergencies, collaborate with relevant teams on data governance, and data security work.
- Provide support for specific business operation scenarios, make routine data compliance review and data processing agreement review, and feasible suggestions.
- File with competent government authority for data security related matters in accordance with the PRC data security law and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Provide supports for specific business scenarios relating to Gen-AI in accordance with the PRC Gen-AI service administration and relevant laws and regulations, and make routine data compliance review and data processing agreement review, and feasible suggestions.
- Keep abreast of the development of relevant laws, policies, standards, and typical events such as privacy and data protection, cyber security, and AI compliance in China and other key countries (regions) around the world, analyze and predict the compliance trend, evaluate the impact and transform the relevant requirements into the local context.
Requirements:
- Familiar with Chinese and foreign laws, regulations, and practice guidelines related to data security and protection, cyber security, data cross-border transfer, AI compliance such as the European GDPR, Chinese cyber security law, data security law, personal information protection law, generative AI service administration, ISO 27701, and GB/T 35273, etc.
- At least 8 years of working experience in privacy and data protection compliance/data/cyber security area, and other related fields, with practical experience in IT related industries is preferred.
- Graduate degree or above, working experience in law firm or consulting institution is preferred.
- Have good risk identification, analytical capability, research, management, and control related business perception, and have been involved in data compliance projects.
- Have good logical thinking, oral communication, and written skills, team cooperation and independent work ability, strong initiative, and pressure resistance.
- Good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, multinational enterprise or overseas study/work background is preferred.
