Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to architect design, development, and testing of complex, multi-tier software applications.
  • Work with engineers, managers, and product managers to develop innovative solutions that meet needs for functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Estimate engineering efforts, plan implementations, and roll out system changes.
  • Develop industry and product technical expertise.
  • Participate in maintaining team standards and best practices.
  • Understand the broader business context and provide intelligent solutions.
  • Lead agile teams, manage projects, and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
  • 7+ years' experience in software development, with at least 5+ years' experience in Java programming and web development.
  • Deep understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, good at triaging and resolving critical tech issues.
  • Expertise in object-oriented design methodology and application development in Java and JavaEE, including Spring, Spring Boot, HTML, JavaScript, etc.
  • Expertise in large-scale web application development, with skills in React and NodeJS a plus.
