About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant to join our Trimble Consulting team in France. As a key member of our AECO technology advisory team, you will work closely with clients to implement ALM methods and solutions on large-scale building and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement ALM methods and solutions on a range of building and infrastructure project phases and types
- Design and implement project solutions and workflows for owners, designers, engineers, and builders
- Define connected workflows and optimize complex systems and technology configurations
- Create and manage project databases, auditing and reviewing BIM data, and customizing via scripting
- Work closely with clients to determine their key requirements, collaboration objectives, and communicate these requirements back to key business functions
- Strive to retain existing clients and ensure the maximum longevity of their relationship with Trimble through proactive contact, excellent service delivery, and appropriate relationship development
Requirements:
- +5 years of professional practice, preferably on linear infrastructure projects or maintenance and operations projects
- Graduate degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management
- Experience with digital AECO tools and CDE platforms
- Fluent in French and English
- Experience in developing and deploying consulting projects, process mapping, and implementation
- Interest in new technologies and how ALM can be applied to the AECO industry
- Deep interest in learning new skills and knowledge with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Domain knowledge around design and construction methods, processes, and systems with understanding common construction terminology and standards as well as various building types and systems
- Capacity to interact with clients and their teams for on-site missions and ability to engage and develop a growth path with the client for further missions
Nice to Have Skills:
- Wireframe, surface, and solid modeling
- Geometry optimization and automation
- Parametric BIM production and coordination
- Construction modeling and simulation
- BIM data extraction and analytics
- Software development experience (frontend or backend)
