Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Welding Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhou, or Yangzhou, China.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality standards for welding materials and processes in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality requirements into supply chain operations.
- Ensure supplier quality performance through audits, evaluations, and periodic reviews.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in welding supply chain operations.
- Develop and maintain quality control plans and inspection protocols for welding materials and components.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer-specific requirements related to welding.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field).
- Familiarity with international quality standards (e.g., ISO 1, ISO, ISO, ISO 4).
- Have NDT knowledge, NDT level II.
- Proven experience as a Quality Manager / leader or specialist, rich experience on welding, coating, assembly manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple priorities.
- Excellent English both spoken, read, and write.
