Mercedes-Benz is seeking a highly skilled Exterior Quality Specialist to join our team in China. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards for our exterior components.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct quality planning and problem resolution activities with local suppliers.
- Coordinate and perform first sampling with suppliers, including 3rd party testing laboratories for new and/or changed parts.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Mercedes Car Group teams.
- Conduct special tasks and maintain IT systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required, Master's degree preferred.
- Quality (auditor) accreditation/certification preferred.
- 2 years of automotive industry experience, quality and manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience in glass, wiper system, sunroof, or comparable product manufacturing process is preferred.
- Knowledge in quality management tools/methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
- Proven capabilities in problem solving.
