Job Description

The Clinical Ancillaries team at Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sourcing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of products to our customers and partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Negotiate competitive contracts and terms, including attractive prices and payment terms.
  • Perform supplier benchmarking, satisfaction analysis, and other relevant tasks to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Provide regulatory support for sourcing and movement of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers and project managers to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Generate documents and presentations to support customer needs.
  • Place purchase orders and implement documentation to enable handover to the sourcing coordinator.
  • Display professional behavior in handling issue resistance and pressure.
  • Support Comparator Sourcing activities and tasks.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of minimum experience, preferably in wholesaler or supply chain management in pharmaceutical/medical device companies.
  • Familiarity with trading of pharmaceuticals/medical devices is an advantage.
  • Strong business and financial foresight.
  • Proven track record in sourcing and supplier relationship management.
  • Multi-tasker with excellent interpersonal skills and surrounding partner interactions.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English, with other languages a plus.
