Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our industrial process team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing process improvements that drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new manufacturing technologies
  • Lead process workshops and teams to maximize added value in products
  • Coordinate with process engineers to ensure seamless execution of projects
  • Support industrial project leads in advanced projects, including new acquisitions and cost reduction programs

Requirements

  • Academic degree in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience in assembly process as production engineer or methods engineer
  • Knowledge of different process fields (e.g. screwing, fitting, welding, gluing) in the automotive industry
  • Fluent English language skills
  • German or French language skills are a plus
  • Expertise in eMotor, Inverter, and Gearbox manufacturing is beneficial
  • Experience in management of Methods or Production teams is appreciated
  • Competence in design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, NX) is a plus
  • Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing and Hoshin tools is required
