Clear Ventures is seeking a highly skilled Staff Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical hardware for our consumer-grade camera products.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems for wireless audio products, including concept study and electrical specification definition
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key aspects of product definition, design, optimization, implementation, and test
- Participate in electrical design reviews and conduct design experiment and critical design validation tests
- Track and resolve technical issues working with cross-functional teams
- Support compliance team to ensure electrical design meets EMC requirements
- MS or BA in electrical engineering or equivalent with 10+ years of experience in electrical design and related field in consumer product
- Experience in designing electrical systems with BLE audio (such as wireless microphone and TWS earbuds)
- Experience in low-power design with strategies to minimize power consumption in wireless microphone systems, balancing performance with energy efficiency
- Experience in designing electrical systems with Microprocessor, memories devices, high-speed transceivers, Wi-Fi, BT, and GNSS devices and PMICs
- Experience in various serial interfaces such as I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, USB 2/3, MIPI, HDMI, DP, PCIe, and SLVS-EC
- Proven ability in investigating root cause, complex design debugging, and problem-solving independently with minimal guidance
- Familiarity with audio codecs (SBC, AAC, LE3) and their impact on audio quality, latency, and power consumption
- Proficiency in designing RF circuits, antenna matching, and optimizing transmission and reception performance
