Position Overview:

We are in search of a strategic and results-oriented Senior Procurement Manager for our Electronics Business. This role is pivotal in formulating procurement strategies that drive revenue and profit growth. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership abilities and a proven history of collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and various stakeholders to enhance cash flow and align priorities while influencing senior leaders to meet both annual and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders in the electronics sector to identify business needs and devise strategic solutions.
  • Enhance operational efficiencies by optimizing processes and tools, such as procure-to-pay and automated workflows.
  • Oversee category strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies across product lines, consolidating and rationalizing our global supplier network.
  • Formulate and execute an annual cost reduction plan, including value analysis and engineering projects, to meet cost reduction targets while ensuring timely implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
  • Negotiate complex supply agreements and contracts with key suppliers.
  • Coordinate with the new product sourcing team to select appropriate strategic suppliers for new products, ensuring adherence to cost and timeline requirements.
  • Manage supplier performance in terms of cost, quality, delivery, and service to maintain Littelfuse's competitive edge, including regular reviews and corrective actions for underperforming suppliers.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions; conduct thorough analysis of market data and competitor status to provide actionable insights.

Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain, or a related field; a Master's Degree is advantageous.
  • Over 15 years of experience in procurement within the electronics industry, with a strong understanding of custom-designed components.
  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and adaptability while engaging with all organizational levels and external partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize diverse viewpoints and implement effective solutions.
  • Proven global experience with a capacity to build agile teams across regions, complemented by effective coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, particularly in contract and supply agreement discussions.
  • Fluency in both Chinese and English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for domestic and international engagements.
  • Experience with lean and/or six-sigma methodologies is a plus.
