About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Projects & Investment Engineer to join our team at Continental. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for developing concepts for new machinery and equipment, preparing capital requests and specifications, and performing supplier negotiations and monitoring progress of their work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engineering projects and investment plans to support business growth and improvement.
- Manage and control engineering projects at site regarding time, budget, and quality.
- Ensure alignment of local projects to SSL strategy and standards.
- Perform project feasibility and pre-evaluation studies.
- Support production and quality to ensure ESH regulations and perform project management if needed investments on machines or infrastructure.
- Support other departments on quality improvements projects.
- Track energy cost saving KPIs in location together with facility team.
- Seek and define saving projects together with ME P&I, ESH, and facility team.
Requirements:
- Degree in natural science, engineering, or a related technical or business field.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in process improvements or products improvements area, minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Deep understanding of investment and capex, standards, frameworks, and best practices.
- International project management experience and ability to manage and facilitate change across multiple sites and teams.
- Familiar with industrial production processes.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across cultures and languages.
- Commitment to innovation and continuous improvement combined with the ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Preferred to have PMP certificate.
- Fluent English speaking.
