The Commercial Analytics & AI (CAAI) China team is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality commercial analytics services to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data cleaning and integration processes to ensure high-quality data for commercial analysis.
  • Analyze and present data to provide insights on market competition dynamics, business performance, and trends.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to support business performance review and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with senior managers and decision-makers to identify and solve business problems.
  • Develop and execute creative solutions to business challenges.
  • Work closely with CAAI TA leads, Data Science team, and CAAI colleagues to integrate best analytic practices and meet specific business needs.
  • Implement standardized tools and methodologies to support business operations.

Requirements

  • 3 years of analytics experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Ability to understand and communicate business challenges, issues, and events.
  • Working knowledge of developing analytic models, primary/secondary market research, data reporting, and commercial analytics tools.
  • Experience analyzing large amounts of data and ability to interpret and integrate raw outputs from various econometric and statistical models.
  • Fluency in English is preferable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in operations research or management science.
  • Two years of modeling experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and visualization tools such as Tableau.
