Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with management team of responsible BUSU, to identify and deliver HR solutions that build competitive advantage, enhance organization performance for delivery of business strategics.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key business leaders and stakeholders within assigned BUSUs.
- Responsible for contributing to the people strategies and programs, and providing HR advice, direction and support for business change.
HR Consulting
- Be a trusted HR advisor and coach to the management teams of the responsible BUSU, also be available resources to managers and employees at all levels, providing responsive and relevant advice, counseling and guidance and recommending appropriate actions to facilitate results.
- Provide expert advice and consultation on a variety of HR topics, including employee relations, performance management, talent development, compensation and benefits, and recruitment.
- Partner with managers to address employee relations issues.
- Oversee employee relations, working with ER to ensure a positive work environment and addressing any issues that arise.
Compliance and Policy and Procedure Interpretation
- Ensure adherence to all relevant employment laws and regulations.
- Mitigate employment risk by ensuring the responsible BU/SU conform to all relevant statutory and employment law requirements.
- Ensure HR policies are consistently interpreted and applied across the responsible BUSU.
Data Analysis
- Leverage data analytics in driving HR solutions and translate into actionable plans to make impact and enable business strategy.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement within assigned business units. Share insights and recommendations with business leaders.
Collaboration with HR Functions
- Assist BHR Head to drive strategic workforce planning and ensure manpower and people cost are managed in line with bank objectives.
- Working in collaboration with respective HR COE team to facilitate talent acquisition, employee development and retention, build leadership and drive employee engagement and performance improvement initiatives to mitigate people risk.
- Partner with management / HR COE on culture, organizational design, employee development, EVP promotion, engagement, performance management etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- At least 10 years working experience in HR, with a proven track record of providing excellent client service.
- Experience developing and implementing HR strategies.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Solid HR experience
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and solid knowledge of Chinese Labor Law, local regulations regarding employment issues and related matters.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Broad generalist HR skills across a range of populations with increasing responsibility ideally within Banking / Financial industry.
- Be familiar with Chinese Labor Law, local regulations regarding employment issues and related matters.
- Good understanding in compensation & benefit, training, talent development and organization development.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create a change strategy and lead complex and transformation change.
- Ability to engage, inspire, and influence people.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
