Responsibilities 

This role provides COO New Product & Projects coverage for GFM across Sales, Trading and Fixed Income businesses.  It is for a highly motivated and proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, passionate about driving innovation and tangible results. You will be instrumental in leading strategic initiatives and product development within the COO Office for Global Financial Markets. Your ability to champion new ideas, execute complex projects, and influence diverse stakeholders will be key to your success.

• Lead and drive new initiatives: Proactively lead and drive the rollout of critical new products, projects, and strategic initiatives across GFM businesses, ensuring seamless execution and measurable impact

• Provide product leadership: Take ownership as the business lead for New Product Approval (NPA). Coordinate effectively with support units and sales/traders to champion the end-to-end workflow and approval process for new products, driving them from conception to successful launch

• Champion system projects: Act as the primary GFM business lead for system and platform projects, driving them from an end-to-end perspective. Collaborate closely with GFM Tech and various stakeholders to spearhead the successful rollout of digital innovations and system enhancement

• Ensure governance & compliance: Take a leading role in product and sales governance, actively driving process reviews to ensure stringent adherence to relevant policies and regulations. This includes pioneering product reviews for new regulations, managing annual product reviews, and conducting thorough post-implementation assessments
• Drive automation & data initiatives: Leverage automation and data tools creatively to drive significant efficiencies, streamline workflows, and unlock new insights, contributing to a more agile and data-driven operation
• Contribute with ad-hoc support: Proactively undertake other necessary tasks to meet evolving business demands and control requirements, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to overall team success

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Global Financial Markets, Treasury, or related fields
• Strong Product Knowledge: Good command of GFM products (FX, Derivatives, Money Market, Security Trading, Structured Products).

• Business Acumen: Familiarity with GFM business end-to-end flows and associated risk areas (regulatory, capital, market, credit, settlement, etc.)

• Collaboration & Results: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional workgroups and drive project completion

• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and thrive under pressure to meet deadlines

• Excellent presentation and communication skills

• Strong risk and control mindset

•  Experience with automation (VBA, Python) and data visualization tools is highly preferred
